Kiss Cutting
Kiss cutting is a process (as shown in the opposite picture) where
we cut a part on backing paper without actually cutting through
the backing paper.
The Benefits of Kiss cut parts are:
- Easier to remove the part from the backing paper.
- Can be set with tracking holes in the backing paper to suit
automated assembly.
- Can be supplied on rolls or strips to suit your manual assembly
line.
- Parts can have an easy release backing paper so that the parts
can be peeled off easier and thus quicken assembly.
- Depending on the thickness of the part we can supply the waste
material removed at no extra cost.
The opposite picture shows one strip of parts with waste removed
and one strip of parts without.
